The need for business-focused, expert OD capability has arguably never been greater than it is today. To survive and prosper over the long term, organisations must be capable of adapting to ever more rapid market and technological change. There’s a huge opportunity for OD to help create high performing, high energy, innovative and productive organisations. However, OD’s track record in delivering organisational improvement is mixed, its remit is often unclear and its impact hard to measure. The challenge for OD is not just to help individuals improve, but to create the conditions for people, and the organisation, to flourish. Unless OD is capable of rising to this challenge, it risks becoming disconnected from the business or even irrelevant.

Gillian has worked as a senior HR practitioner and OD specialist for several organisations including Swiss Re, Vodafone and BAA. Prior to her HR career, she was a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting and is also a qualified solicitor.
As CRF’s Research Director, Gillian has written various reports and papers on subjects including HR strategy, organisation design and development, leadership development, talent management, coaching and diversity.
Annette is a business change management and transformation expert. She has worked across a variety of industries both as a consultant at Accenture and Deloitte and in house. Annette has been involved in significant scale restructures at Argos, Tesco and Debenhams, helping these organisations to redefine their operating models and support colleagues through these changes. She is currently working at Philip Morris with IQOS, defining their ambitious journey from conventional tobacco products to smoke free alternatives.
Danielle is a senior HR, Org Design and Development specialist who has led change programmes for companies across different industries, including HSBC, Telefonica O2, IHG and Royal Mail. As a change practitioner, she focuses on organisations that want to become better performing, healthier workplaces through shifting leadership and people behaviours, mindset and culture. She does this by using a pragmatic blend of analytics, Organisational Design and Organisational Development interventions and her approach is informed by clinical models, particularly Gestalt and psychodynamic psychology. She also coaches leaders, teams and organisations to build capability in-house to apply design thinking and sound OD practices.
Cindy leads an agile pool of 30 HR Consultants who design global solutions to solve strategic workforce issues. Prior to her current role, Cindy has held executive HR leadership roles in corporations across Financial Services, Technology and Consumer Goods.
